A Little Newsletter on the Christian Life contains my miscellaneous biblical and theological reflections on the Christian life. My aim is to write about topics that thoughtful Christians might conceivably puzzle over as they seek to be faithful to Christ.
My working assumption is that the Bible and Christian theology are supremely relevant for the Christian life, though I acknowledge that it is often difficult to see how this is so. My goal is to show, as much as I’m able, how Scripture and doctrine ought to shape one’s practice of the faith.
I’m shooting to write in a way that is understandable to those with no special training or interest in theology. It is easy—at least, easier in my opinion—to write in a way that is academic, speculative, and theoretical. It is much harder to be clear, concrete, and practical. My goal is to do more of the latter.
